Join Us for a Town Hall on September 12th

mt rainierDid you know nearly 40,000 Tacoma workers – or 41 percent of the workforce – have no access to paid sick days to care for themselves or a sick family member? Childcare workers, restaurant staff and elderly caregivers are the least likely to receive paid sick leave.

Join Healthy Tacoma for a Town Hall on September 12th at 6 PM to discuss the proposed citywide ordinance for paid sick days in Tacoma. The event will include a panel discussion with local representatives from small business, government, community organizations and labor.

Tacoma community members are invited to learn more about the paid sick leave ordinance and ask questions about its impacts on Tacoma workers and families.
